Within our never-ending cycle, the austerity of Winter holds the most significant reality. Life, death and survival are a constant. Fitting that this album was conceived from the minds living in the remote woods of the Yukon territories and northern Manitoba treaty 4.This is an album in reverence for the unchanging power of nature in its most unforgiving form.
Under The Mikwam collects 10 tracks of unflinching Black Metal with heavy, Crust-Punk overtones. A blizzard of screeching Ojibwe vocals, blood-clotting drumming and hypnotic riffing. This LP is a beast, rising from the permafrost and cascading down upon the unprepared with oppressive force.
